FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Does my art have to be a drawing or painting?

Nooooo! Art comes in many different forms, like Play-Doh, Lego structures, a house of cards, or even a creative story. You do you.

2. Can I submit art that I made at home?

Yes! We encourage you to create your masterpiece wherever you feel inspired - in your home, in the car, or it could even be outside with sidewalk chalk.

3. How many photos of my art can I submit?

We have plenty of space to showcase all of your masterpieces. Let the creative juices flow, my friend! But you have to stop when your grown up say it's time to be done.

4. My little brother wants to add some artwork to the A2SLTC Art Gallery too. Is that okay?

Yes! Siblings can submit their artwork too. Brothers, sisters, cousins...everyone deserves an artistic voice!

5. My masterpiece is perfected and ready to submit. Now what?

Easy peasy. Have your grown up take a photo of your artwork, save it to a file, then click on the button below.

6. Who can see my artwork?

Everyone! Anyone who visits the Ann Arbor Speech & Language Therapy Center website can admire your amazing work of creativity. You can invite your grandma and grandpa to see it, a favorite aunt or uncle, neighbor, teacher, anyone you want. Just check with your grown up first.

7. Should I put my name on my creation?

Not all artists sign their work -- sometimes it's more fun to leave people wondering...who designed that inspiring creation??? Ask your grown up what they think. They're really good at deciding these things.

8. Do I have to do this? What if I don't feel like sharing my art?

No, absolutely not. You do not have to share your art. You don't even have to make it. Only participate if you want to.

9. What are the rules?

Rule #1: Have fun!

Rule #2: Find something kind to say about someone else's artwork.

Rule #3: Share your work!

Art is language that speaks to your heart.
