Laura Donoghue, M.A., CCC-SLP

is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist and the founder and owner of Ann Arbor Speech & Language Therapy Center, LLC. Laura began her career 25 years ago at DMC’s Children’s Hospital of MI. Following several years consulting for South Lyon Community Schools, Laura dedicated 10 years to furthering her clinical skills at Michigan Medicine’s Briarwood Pediatric Rehab Center before committing full time to her private practice. 

 

With a wealth of knowledge and experience, Laura provides efficient, evidence-based speech, language, and voice therapy to

children, teens, and adults for a variety of communication disorders ranging from oro-myofunctional disorders to exercise-induced laryngeal obstruction, with an emphasis in apraxia of speech and persistent speech sound disorders. Laura utilizes multiple treatment approaches to construct individualized treatment plans, including PROMPT, DTTC, PECS, and AAC / speech-generating applications. She is part of an experienced network of providers, ensuring each client has access to proven comprehensive care.

 

Laura has been a member of the Ann Arbor community since 2005, and raised her three children in the Lansdowne neighborhood. Go Lawton Leopards, Slauson Golden Bears, Community Zebras, and Pioneer Pioneers!
